My name is Jessica and I’m a yoga teacher based in Kent. I recently moved here from Hastings and I’m excited to get to know the area. I will be teaching in Dover every Wednesday. For more info please see my public classes page.
Why do I teach yoga?
As cheesy as it sounds yoga really has changed my life for the better. I’m stronger and more flexible and my posture has greatly improved. Even more profound is my increased mind and body awareness which has enabled me to live my life with a greater sense of clarity, balance and calm. I’m beyond grateful to all my yoga teachers for this gift and now I want to share this gift with others.
What style of yoga do I teach?
I teach vinyasa flow which means that the movement in my classes synchronises in harmony with the breath and that each pose flows smoothly into the next. I give lots of alignment tips making sure the poses are accessible and safe for everyone.
Where did I train?
I graduated from the amazing Yoga Campus in London after 18months of training which covered asana, meditation, pranayama, anatomy, philosophy and history to name just a few! I’ve also been lucky enough to study under Zephyr Wildman one of London’s top senior yoga teachers to learn about the therapeutic benefits of yoga. I have also been greatly inspired by two amazing teachers Tanja Mickwitz and Emily Reed who’s classes have given and taught me so much.
